Chine: la plus longue ligne de Train à Grande Vitesse du monde inaugurée

2300 km que le train parcourt en 8 heures à la vitesse de croisière de 350 km/h: c'est la plus longue ligne de Train à Grande Vitesse (TGV) du Monde et elle vient d'être inaugurée en Chine, entre Beijing et Guangzhou. Elle relierea entre elles 5 provinces et 22 villes importantes du pays.

C'est une réalisation extraordinaire qui a été pensée, planifiée, financée et exécutée de bout en bout par l'Etat, les ingénieurs et les travailleurs chinois. C'est la preuve la plus éclatante que ce grand pays a acquis la maitrise de la très haute technologie et la réalisation de projets les plus complexes.  Un know que le pays peut exporter dans le monde entier, en commençant par l'Afrique.

D'après la télévision chinoise, le temps de réalisation a été de 7 ans en tout, là où dans d'autres pays on a besoin de plus de 10 ans.

With a seating capacity of one-thousand-and-twenty-eight, each train consists of 16 carriages, which include a first class carriage, a second class carriage, a business carriage and a dining car. Each day 155 pairs of trains will travel along the rail link.

As the travel demand along this particular route is around 50 percent higher than the current capacity allows during peak times, the opening of the high-speed rail link is expected to considerably enhance the travel experience for the region’s 400 million residents. And there are plans to extend the Beijing-Guangzhou rail link to Hongkong by 2015.
